I have zero regrets about that decision. You can buy this game on the Nintendo Switch, which I highly recommend since you can play the game both in your living room and on the go. Any enemy can be deadly, and it’s important to learn its patterns to survive. If you die, the in-game currency you’ve collected drops where you fell. And if you die again before getting back to that spot, you’ll lose the currency you collected. Your character looks like a beetle, and all of the allies and enemies you meet along the way are also insects. The entire map is based on exploring a massive maze underneath the earth. But it’s not just dirt everywhere you go. You’ll find areas with lush greenery, toxic fog, and incredible gothic architecture. Music can make or break a video game.

Surviving the next time around means learning from your mistakes, which makes progress feel all the more rewarding. The best video games reward exploration, and «Hollow Knight» does this in spades. Without spoiling anything, there’s a hint near the beginning of the game that seems to tell you, «Hey, you can’t access me yet, but maybe come back when you have the right abilities or tools.

Not only what they are but also how can you experience these endings for yourself in a step-by-step manner. There are 3 different endings in the game. They are classified as such: the first ending is by far the easiest to achieve; however, it is not the penultimate ending. Apart from this, there is a good ending and a bad ending which depends on the actions that you do while in the game. That is not all though, there is also a scene which appears after you are done with the game and you watch all of the credits.
We will be going through all 3 of the endings as well as this scene that you can get when at the end of the game. Let us take a look at each of the endings individually to see how they differ and how to unlock all of.
This is ending is the easiest to achieve and probably what most players get to experience when they near the end of the game. In order to achieve this ending, all you need to do is to kill all 3 of the dreamers and then head to the Temple of the Black Egg.
Here, you will come face to face with the Hollow Knight who will be the main boss battle. Once you manage to defeat the Hollow Knight, you become the new Hollow Knight and take his place. This begins a new cycle which repeats. This ending is the evil ending of the game. This ending hollow knight not making enough money achieved once you kill all 3 of the Dreamers and then obtain the charm which is known as the Void Heart. In this ending, Hornet will apprehend the Hollow Knight. Do not use your Dream Nail to enter his dreams and continue on with your regular attacks.
Once you have defeated the Hollow Knight, you become the new Knight and Hornet is sealed away from you. This ending finishes the Hollow Knight cycle but allows the infection to completely take. This is similar to the last ending, once you defeat all the Dreamers and collect the Void Heart, you will battle the Hollow Knight. Hornet ties him down this time and you use the Dream Nail to unleash the Radiance which starts a 3 round boss battle.
Once you have defeated the Radiance, the infection disappears and the Hollow Knight cycle ends. Once you have the Spore Shroom charm, you can talk to Mr. Mushroom at 7 different locations in Hollow Knight.
