This type of usage is like a mirror version of the original video, being displayed on the secondary site. Each viewing of the video adds to the view count on the original site. If monetization is active on the original version, the advertisements generated by the monetization will display on the embed too, adding revenue for the uploader. In this instance, the uploader will receive their share of the revenue in line with the licensing agreement they agreed with Storyful. Each time it is viewed, the number of views on the original video increases. The advertisements displayed beforehand accumulate revenue for the uploader, which Storyful collects. Storyful pays the uploader their share of this revenue, in line with the revenue-share agreement.
